Vista Software celebrates 7 years of database excellence

April 4th, 2006

Vista Software celebrates its seven year anniversary today on the heels of announcing a free update to VistaDB 2.1.5. The company incorporated in April 1999 and since start-up, Vista Software has redefined the small to midsize database market with its next generation VistaDB database engine and award-winning Apollo Xbase product lines.

"It's certainly been an exciting seven years," stated Anthony Carrabino, President and CEO of Vista software. "We originally set out to rejuvenate Apollo, which was an award-winning Xbase database engine used world wide. We have re-invested heavily in research and development over the years and have grown into a serious database company with our release of VistaDB. We must be doing something right, our user base is growing each month and customers are reporting fantastic success with VistaDB as it has gained tremendous respect among developers."

Indication that the company is in a leadership role can be seen on competitor's web sites, where influence of VistaDB is clear. Both large and small companies have taken notice of VistaDB and often find themselves reacting to Vista Software's moves in the marketplace, such as the introduction of our Direct Data Access™ technology.

News is being well received by VistaDB customers as they have watched the company deliver a continuous flow of improved software updates along with in-depth technical support. Looking forward, the company expects to see even more growth with the release of VistaDB 3.0.
